A star-studded cast of speakers will take part in Assiniboine Community College's third annual Prairie Innovation Forum over the next month.
Among the speakers are Jeffrey Simpson, Andrew Souvaliotis, Jay Ingram and Dr. M Sanjayan.
Simpson is an author, journalist, TV personality and Officer of the Order of Canada. He has been the Globe and Mail's national affairs columnist since 1984. He will be speaking in Brandon on Tuesday, March 9, at 7:30 p.m. at the Western Manitoba Centennial Auditorium.
Souvaliotis, the chief impact officer of the Air Miles Reward Program, will also be speaking March 9 (WMCA, 1:30 p.m.). He is the founder of Green Rewards, an innovative business that sought to create a green shift in Canadians' shopping patterns by harnessing the potential of loyalty marketing.
Ingram, co-host of Discovery Channel's Daily Planet, will speak March 16 at 1:30 p.m. at the WMCA. He is one of Canada's best known science experts. The Daily Planet is TV's first daily science show.
Dr. M Sanjayn, the lead scientist with The Nature Conservancy, will speak in both Brandon and Dauphin. As seen on the David Letterman show, Dr. Sanjayan's primary responsibility is to communicate the scientific and conservation breakthroughs they are pioneering at the Nature Conservancy. He will be speaking at McDiarmid Drive Alliance Church at 1:30 p.m. April 8.
