Science Fair coming up March 16

About 350 entries are expected for the annual Western Manitoba Regional Science Fair, scheduled for March 16 in the Manitoba Room of the Keystone Centre.

The entries will represent the work of approxmately 500 students from Grades 1-12.

Donors and corporate sponsors have provided approximately $8,000 in special awards ranging from cash, books and trophies to trips to the Canada Wide Science Fair in Peterborough, Ont., in May.

The event is open to the public from 2-6 p.m. following the main judging. Admission is free. Award ceremonies in the sales ring at the Keystone are scheduled for 4:30 p.m. (Grades 1-4) and 6:30 p.m. (Grades 5-12).
