What an absolutely wonderful article in your paper on the closing of CKX-TV. It was a very special tribute to their station and staff and a sad day for Brandon and area viewers. Thank you !!

Enjoyed John Loregio's Oct. 8 commentary "What will happen first?" It was rather entertaining and I was especially tickled at the mention of Ethelbert. l've lived in Brandon for more than 20 years, but originally hail from the mini capital of Ethelbert. Hmm, maybe that will happen first. I always say, " Everyone knows someone from Ethelbert.” It's true -- just ask anyone!

It annoys me that when my child loses something with his phone number on it, the finder won't call to return it.
